Also see a very good web based phone directory search site below (118.com). This is searchable for people or businesses, or business type and location (For example, just key in ”plumbers in milton keynes” (without the quotes), and then click on the Business Type box. You will get a list of both plumbers and plumbers merchants in Milton Keynes. Very easy and efficient to use, and does NOT appear to be case sensitive!
Need to find a town for a phone-code, or a phone code for a town? Try this useful site: http://www.ukphoneinfo.com/section/tci/locator.shtml The search box will take a phone code beginning with zero, or a town name

Also, try changing the area drop-down from world-wide to UK or EUROPE. For instance, using EUROPE, and the name box as *merloni* brings up all the related Merloni European and British sites, with links.)
