Since letsfixit.co.uk is mostly a free information site, for DIY, and appliance FAQ, and useful links for fixing them, the site is partially supported by Link Partners (reciprocal or one-way linking) and affiliations with home and DIY related companies. This all helps to keep the Search Engine Rankings at a very good level, and easier for visitors to find information with search engines.

and we can come to an arrangement to help me cover hosting and build costs (for example £3 per month for a one-way link and logo with descriptive text to the right, as per the site style). Reciprocal linking is a good way to promote sites, increase visitor and hit counts, and that will always be encouraged (and currently it is free).
NOTES ON THE ABOVE: Requests for reciprocal link exchange will only be accepted from legitimate company addresses, NOT GMAIL addresses. Also, no third party, 3-way linking or link-farm style exchanges will be accepted.
ONE-WAY LINK ADVERTISING COSTS: normal pages, using a normal logo, with a descriptive text block and up to 5 deep links are £3 per month, but for annual billing, two free months are given, so this is £30 per year. Animated or larger banner logos/adverts are double that figure. Home page entries are £6 per month (£60 on annual billing). Animated logos, or large/wide banners on the home page are £12 per month (£120 per year with annual billing). Dedicated feature/article pages - content dependent - but between £100 and £140 - Annual billing only.

The description should read something like: FREE DIY HINTS/TIPS/FAQ site for DIY plumbing, appliance repair, and central heating, plus useful links sections to appliance spares, plumbing supplies, tools, DIY stores and appliance manufacturers and suppliers sites.
